Pakistan cricket team arrived in India on September 27, 2023 for the first time in seven years, to participate in the ICC World Cup 2023. The team, led by Babar Azam, arrived in Hyderabad, where they will play their first two warm-up matches against New Zealand and Australia on September 29 and October 3, respectively.

Pakistan's first World Cup match is against The Netherlands on October 6 in Hyderabad, and they will also play Sri Lanka on October 10 in the same city. The team is placed in Group B along with India, South Africa, Bangladesh, and two qualifiers.

The Pakistan cricket team's visit to India is a significant development, as the two countries have not played a bilateral series since 2012. The resumption of cricket ties between the two countries is a welcome sign, and it is hoped that it will lead to improved relations between the two nations.

The ICC World Cup 2023 is scheduled to be held in India from October 5 to November 1
2, 2023. A total of 10 teams will participate in the tournament, which will be played across 10 venues in India.
